Known issues in the Splunk App for Content Packs

This version of the app has the following reported known issues. If no issues appear below, no issues have yet been reported.

Date filed Issue number Description
26 July 2024 ITSI-36841 [Unix CP] "Host not in" and "Host in" panels of the "Settings - Unix" dashboard do not have pagination and filter for the list of hosts
01 Feb 2024 ITSI-34284 "Alerts" Tab in "Settings - Unix" Dashboard does not load when a report is converted to alert
Workaround:

Follow steps blow if Report is converted to an Alert:

  1. Add lines below for Report stanza in the local/alert_overlay.conf file:

{noformat}[<<Name of Report>>] threshold_min=0 threshold_max=0{noformat}
Note: When you apply the above workaround for converted alert, that converted alert is displayed in the "Alerts" Tab of the "Settings - Unix" Dashboard. This is not a supported configuration, but it will show up due to the workaround. Any changes to it will cause an error.
