Release notes

Version 3.16.0 of Splunk DB Connect was released on February 27, 2024.

New and changed features

Version 3.16.0 of Splunk DB Connect contains the following new or changed features:

  • Supports Azure AD Authentication for Azure MS SQL Connection. It requires the installation of the latest version of Splunk DBX Add-on for Microsoft SQL Server JDBC.
  • Documentation on how to use the DB Connect API.
  • We no longer support MS-SQL Server Using jTDS Driver, MS-SQL Server Using jTDS Driver with Windows Authentication and AWS RedShift in favor of AWS Redshift v2.0.
  • Support for connecting to Hive databases using the Cloudera JDBC driver.

Fixed issues

Version 3.16.0 of Splunk DB Connect fixes the following issues. If no issues appear below, no issues have yet been fixed.
