New Features for

Version 1.3.1 of was released on November 16th, 2021. Version 1.3.1 includes the following new features or enhancements.

New Feature or Enhancement Description
Support for Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose data. See Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose prerequisites for Data Manager.
Support for Amazon CloudWatch Logs data. See Amazon CloudWatch Logs admin prerequisites for Data Manager.

Upgrade requirements

Upgrade activity Description
Upgrade to 1.3.1 To upgrade to 1.3.1, open a Support ticket with your Splunk Cloud administrator.
Ingest new AWS metadata If you already onboarded a data input with the 1.2.0 or earlier build and would like to ingest new AWS data available in the latest version of Data Manager, remove the data input and re-onboard it. To remove and re-onboard, complete the following steps:
  1. Delete the configuration. See Delete your data input for Data Manager.
    After completing the first step of cleaning up the data input, you see the Stackset deployment status of mismatch. You can ignore this warning and continue with deleting the data input.
  2. Onboard the data input. See Use the onboarding wizard in Data Manager.

Compatibility

1.3.1 is compatible with Splunk Enterprise Cloud versions version 8.2.2014.1 and higher.
