Troubleshoot GCP Data Inputs

Data Access logs

You do not see any Data Access audit logs being onboarded.

Possible Causes

  • No actions are performed in your GCP environment that would create a Data Access audit log.
  • Data Access logs are not set up properly.

Possible Solutions

  1. Check which services have Data Access logs enabled and perform basic actions on resources within the service such as navigating to the service page. (GET action)
  2. Navigate to IAM & Admin > Audit Logs.
    1. Locate the service you're interested in.
    2. Check Admin Read, Data Read, Data Write where appropriate.

This will incur extra cost for your customer's GCP environment.
