Release Notes

New Features for

Version 1.10.0 of was released on July 22nd, 2024. It includes the following new features:

New feature Description
Support for the Amazon S3 Data Source Using this data source, you can onboard directly the AWS CloudTrail and Access Logs data inputs from CloudFront, Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), and S3 into Splunk Cloud Platform. Data inputs to onboard are stored in their Amazon S3 buckets.


To request access to this data source, after selecting Amazon Web Services as a data input to onboard, and Amazon S3 as a data source, select Connect to Splunk Cloud Platform under Request access To S3 Data Source.

Support for the Microsoft Azure Event Hub data input

The Azure Event Hub data input is available for private preview customers. If you'd like to participate in the Splunk private preview program, contact your account team.


Azure Event Hubs are data streaming services that can process large volumes of events per second in real time. They can stream events from any source to any destination. The solution is scalable.

Using this data input, you can ingest data from Azure Event Hubs to Splunk Cloud Platform to get helpful insights.
