This topic contains information on new features, updates, and known issues released with the Splunk App for Enterprise Security 3.0.1.

What's New

  • The Splunk App for Enterprise Security Installer implements changes for improved FIPS compliance. For details on installing or upgrading Enterprise Security in a FIPS compliant environment, please contact Splunk Support.
  • Improved support for IPv6 addresses. The Splunk App for Enterprise Security asset lookup now supports IPv6 addressing for use in the asset and identity correlation system.

Add-ons

  • The TA-nessus is no longer included with the Splunk App for Enterprise Security. It has been replaced with the Splunk Add-on for Nessus. The latest version of the Splunk Add-on for Nessus is shipped with Enterprise Security. It is also available for direct download here.
