Splunk Edge Hub Release Notes

Thank you for your interest in the beta release of the Splunk Edge Hub . You can collect sensor data and stream it into a Splunk Cloud instance. To get started, see the following documentation:

The Splunk Edge Hub is supported with Victoria Experience Splunk Cloud Platform and standalone Splunk Enterprise deployments.

What's New

Splunk Edge Hub version 0.12.0 has the following are new updates:

  • New and improved Edge Hub hardware
  • Now use the Splunk App for Edge Hub and AR to register your Edge Hub. To learn more, see Register your Splunk Edge Hub.

Known issues

The following are known issues in the Splunk Edge Hub version 0.15.0:

  • Splunk Edge Hubs cannot be registered using Splunk Cloud Platform version 9.0.2209.2. Use Splunk Cloud platform version 9.0.2208.4 instead.
  • Splunk Edge Hub might intermittently lose WiFi connectivity
  • The WiFi Mac address is inconsistent during registration
