Splunk Edge Hub Release Notes

Thank you for your interest in the beta release of the Splunk Edge Hub . You can collect sensor data and stream it into a Splunk Cloud instance. To get started, see the following documentation:

The Splunk Edge Hub is supported with Victoria Experience Splunk Cloud Platform and standalone Splunk Enterprise deployments.

What's New

Splunk Edge Hub version 1.2 has the following are new updates:

  • Fixed an issue that caused the Splunk Edge Hub to intermittently lose WiFi connectivity
  • Fixed an issue with the WiFi Mac address being inconsistent during registration
  • Splunk Edge Hub now includes more logs when downloading them from the device
  • Other minor bug fixes and improvements

Known issue

Splunk Edge Hubs cannot be registered using Splunk Cloud Platform version 9.0.2209.2. Use Splunk Cloud platform version 9.0.2208.4 instead.
