Install and use the Splunk Edge Hub mobile app

Manage your Splunk Edge Hubs

View and name your Splunk Edge Hub devices, configure the sensors, and turn on and off anomaly detection using the Splunk Edge Hub mobile app.

Prerequisites

Complete the steps at Installation and configuration overview for Splunk Edge Hub OS.

View the Splunk Edge Hub devices list

Navigate to the Edge Hubs list to view your Splunk Edge Hub devices. Select a Splunk Edge Hub from a list to view its sensor details.

Name a Splunk Edge Hub device

You can change the default-generated name for your Splunk Edge Hub device using the Splunk Edge Hub mobile app.

  1. Select a Splunk Edge Hub device to view its details.
  2. Select the edit icon next to the Splunk Edge Hub name.
  3. Enter a new name.
  4. Select Done.

Configure a sensor

You can turn sensors and anomaly detection on or off, and change how often the sensor sends data to your Splunk platform instance.

  1. In the Splunk Edge Hub mobile app, navigate to the Splunk Edge Hub device you want to configure sensor settings for.
  2. Select the sensor tile for the specific sensor you want to configure.
  3. You can turn the sensor on or off, adjust the upload rate, and turn on or off anomaly detection.
