Splunk Cloud Gateway release notes

This version of Splunk Cloud Gateway has the following new features, known issues and fixed issues.

New features

The following are new features in Splunk Cloud Gateway version 1.4.0:

• Dynamic form input support for Splunk Mobile and Splunk TV
• Drilldown support for Splunk Mobile. See Drilldown limitations for more information.
• You no longer need to share dashboards globally to make them visible in the Connected Experiences mobile apps. To learn how to select which apps to display dashboards from, see Select Splunk apps to show dashboards in the mobile apps.
• Admins can manually set the Splunk Cloud Gateway deployment ID in cloudgateway.conf. See the [setup] stanza in Configure cloudgateway.conf for more information.
• Admins can set up Splunk Cloud Gateway specific proxy configuration in clodugateway.conf. See the proxy prequisites in Install Splunk Cloud Gateway for more information.
• Performance improvements

After updating Splunk Cloud Gateway to version 1.4.0, you may need to clear your browser cache.

Known issues

Splunk Cloud Gateway is used to configure and send information to all apps, so issues pertaining to Splunk Cloud Gateway pertain to all Connected Experiences apps. If no issues appear below, none have been reported.

Splunk Connected Experiences apps do not support all visualizations and configurations. See Visualization support in the Splunk Cloud Gateway Release Notes manual for a list of supported and unsupported visualizations.
