Splunk Cloud Gateway release notes
Splunk Cloud Gateway version 1.9.0 was released on February 5, 2020.
New features
The following are new features in Splunk Cloud Gateway version 1.9.0:
- SAML authentication: SAML users can now register their mobile devices to Splunk Cloud Gateway. Splunk Cloud Gateway currently does not support SAML authentication with Splunk Cloud instances or MDM-distributed devices. See Set up SAML authentication for Splunk Cloud Gateway for how to set up SAML authentication.
- Splunk AR workspace editor: You can now edit and delete workspaces in Splunk Cloud Gateway. To learn how, see Edit a workspace in Splunk Cloud Gateway.
- Date as an attribute type in NLP.
- Updates to Splunk Cloud Gateway Status dashboard. You can now view the websocket and subscription status.
