Splunk® Machine Learning Toolkit

User Guide

This documentation does not apply to the most recent version of Splunk® Machine Learning Toolkit. For documentation on the most recent version, go to the latest release.

About the Machine Learning Toolkit

The Machine Learning Toolkit delivers new SPL commands, custom visualizations, assistants, and examples to explore a variety of machine learning concepts.

Each assistant includes end-to-end examples with datasets, plus the ability to apply the visualizations and SPL commands to your own data. You can inspect the assistant panels and underlying code to see how it all works.

Download the ML-SPL Quick Reference Guide (also available in Japanese) for a handy cheat sheet of ML-SPL (Machine Learning - Search Processing Language) commands and machine learning algorithms used in the Machine Learning Toolkit.

ML-SPL Performance App for Machine Learning Toolkit

A companion app to the Machine Learning Toolkit called the ML-SPL Performance App for Machine Learning Toolkit provides performance testing results for each algorithm implemented in ML-SPL in a test environment. You can use these performance results for guidance and benchmarking purposes in your own environment. Download the ML-SPL Performance App for Machine Learning Toolkit from https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/3289.
