Features of the Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP

Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP addresses the operational challenges that administrators face when monitoring mixed NetApp Data ONTAP 7-mode and Cluster-Mode storage environments in today’s data centers with distributed applications.

Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP Features

  • Visualize the operational health of your NetApp Data ONTAP systems in both 7-Mode and Cluster-Mode with visibility to storage controllers, clusters, disk aggregates, volumes, LUNs and q-trees.
  • Understand your storage resource consumption by drilling down on individual storage entities.
  • Gain ability to correlate data from your Data ONTAP storage environment with the Splunk App for VMware storage constructs.
  • Correlate data from your NetApp Data ONTAP filers with data from your virtual and physical infrastructure.
  • Improve your storage monitoring efficiency and proactively plan storage capacity allocations by creating your own customized NetApp storage dashboard(s) using the default set of reports included in the app.
