Release notes

The Splunk Add-on for OpenTelemetry Collector version 1.3.1 was released on August 6, 2024.

What's new:

  • Includes version 0.104 of the Splunk distribution of the Collector. For more information, see the collector release notes.
  • Implemented the following configuration change:

(Core) otlpreceiver: Switch to localhost as the default for all endpoints. (#8510) Disable the component.UseLocalHostAsDefaultHost feature gate to temporarily get the previous default.
