What's new in Splunk OVA for VMware Metrics

Version 4.2.3 of the Splunk OVA for VMware Metrics was released on December, 2021. Version 4.2.3 of the Splunk OVA for VMware Metrics has the following new features:

New feature Description
Splunk Splunk OVA for VMware Metrics now has Splunk v8.2.4, which fixes issues with Log4j.
Splunk Add-on for VMware Metrics The OVA now contains packages of Splunk Add-on for VMware Metrics v4.2.2. This reduces the wait-time on the Hydra gateway server endpoint when the Job queue is empty.
Splunk Enterprise v8.2.4 The OVA contains Splunk Enterprise version 8.2.4. For more specifications about OVA's specifications, see About the Splunk OVA for VMware Metrics.
