Installation requirements and version dependencies

The Splunk Security App for SAP^® solutions offers a collection of dashboards with pre-built customizable panels to visualize the alerts coming into the Splunk platform through Splunk Security Add-on for SAP solutions. Download Splunk Security App for SAP solutions from Splunkbase.

Splunk Cloud Platform deployments on Victoria Experience do not require Inputs Data Manager (IDM). If your deployment is on Victoria Experience, you can run add-ons that contain scripted and modular inputs directly on the search head. System requirements

You must meet the following requirements to run Splunk Security App for SAP solutions:

• The app relies on data from Splunk Security Add-on for SAP^® solutions. You must install and configure Splunk Security Add-on for SAP solutions to use the app. Download Splunk Security Add-on for SAP solutions from Splunkbase.
• The app relies on the Splunk Common Information Model (CIM). Download the Splunk Common Information Model (CIM) version 5.0.2 or higher from Splunkbase.
• You must use Splunk Enterprise 8.2.x or higher or Splunk Cloud Platform.
