Splunk Security for SAP ^® solutions provides data-driven security functionality for threat hunting, risk reduction, and vulnerability mitigation. Combined with Splunk Enterprise, this security intelligence solution lets you monitor and alert on known threats as well as discover unknown threats by identifying and tracking atypical patterns.

Splunk Security for SAP solutions is a security application powered by the Splunk platform. The solution contains two primary components:

• Splunk Security Add-on for SAP^® solutions, which includes these SAP components:
  • SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD) - OEM
  • SAP HANA, Runtime edition for Applications & SAP BW - New/Subsequent partial
• Splunk Security App for SAP^® solutions

Splunk Security Add-on for SAP^® solutions

This add-on retrieves alerts generated by SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD) software. SAP ETD detects potential attacks on SAP systems at the application level by gathering and analyzing log data. Install the add-on and then install the Splunk Security App for SAP solutions to visualize the alerts.
