Welcome to Splunk App for SOAR

What's new in release 1.0.38
This release of includes the following enhancements.

| Self-service installation | With this release, you can now install Splunk App for SOAR with either Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud Platform without the requirement of contacting Splunk. |
| Upgrading Splunk App for SOAR | If you have the original release of Splunk App for SOAR, be sure to follow all of the instructions in the upgrade articles. For detailed steps, see Upgrade Splunk App for SOAR on Splunk Cloud Platform and Upgrade Splunk App for SOAR on Splunk Enterprise. |
| New sc_admin role | The new sc_admin role now has Splunk App for SOAR capabilities, specified in the authorize.conf file. A user with the sc_admin role can now assign Splunk App for SOAR roles, along with the splunk_app_soar_read and splunk_app_soar_write capabilities to other users in Splunk Cloud.
This role is also imported during installation for Splunk Enterprise, but has no effect on, and no administrative capabilities within, the Splunk Enterprise installation. |
