Select which Splunk apps to show dashboards from in the mobile apps

In Splunk Secure Gateway, you can select which apps to show dashboards from in the Connected Experiences mobile apps. Each user sets this configuration for themselves. You do not need to be an admin to configure which apps to show dashboards from on your own mobile device.

The apps you select to show dashboards from are specific to your Splunk account. Other users registered to the same instance might not have the same app selection settings.

Default behavior

By default, the Connected Experiences apps show all dashboards that you have permission to view in Splunk web.

Prerequisites

• Your Splunk platform meets the Splunk Secure Gateway Requirements. See Get Splunk Secure Gateway to learn what the requirements are.
• Have the securegateway role. Have an admin see Configure Splunk Secure Gateway and dashboard permissions to grant you the securegateway role..
• Install a Connected Experiences app on your device.

Steps

To select which Splunk apps to retrieve dashboards from, do the following:

1. In Splunk Secure Gateway, navigate to the App Selection tab.
2. Select the Splunk apps you want the Connected Experiences mobile apps to retrieve dashboards from.
   Select the app again to remove it.
   
3. Click Save.

If you remove all apps from the selected apps list and the selected apps list is empty, the Connected Experiences apps retrieve dashboards from all apps in the available apps list.
