Configure advanced settings for SSO

Populate the advanced section to set up load balancing or change the SAML binding. In Advanced settings, provide the following information:

Name Id Format Provide the Id format provided by your IdP.
Fully qualified domain name or IP of the load balancer Set to: https://sh1.STACKID.example.com. This setting works for a Splunk deployment with Single Search Head Setup or a Search Head Cluster Setup. You must provide an address if you use load balancing with a search head cluster.
(Optional) Redirect port - load balancer port Provide a redirect port for the load-balancer described in the previous field.
Redirect to URL after logout URL to which Splunk should direct a user after logout.
SSO Binding The protocol binding to use for the login request sent to the IdP.
SLO Binding The protocol binding to use for the logout request sent to the IdP.
