Customize a status indicator

Use the Format menu to customize a status indicator. The menu has panels for the following settings.

General

Use this panel to choose whether to show the value, icon, or both in the status indicator.

Icon

Configure the status indicator to use dynamic icons based on the query or use a static icon and icon color.

Colors

Use this panel to enable or disable color in the visualization. If you opt to use color, select from the following options.

Static color

Select a single color for the visualization.

Field value

This option is available if the query includes color field ranges or a static color. Select this option to set color based on the query.

Foreground or background color

Choose whether to color the value and icon or the visualization background.

Number format

Use this panel to adjust decimal precision and enable or disable thousand separators.
