New Features

Splunk App for Stream 6.2.0 adds these new features:

  • Windows OS support:
  • Windows Server 2008R2 and later (64-bit).
  • Windows 7 (64-bit) Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions.
  • Content Extraction feature lets you create index-time field extractions that capture a subset of field data, without indexing all of the field data.
  • Stats Only stream mode allows collecting indexing volume metadata for a stream, without sending its actual events to indexers.
  • Stream Stats Dashboard displays indexing volume metadata.
  • Support for SMPP and DIAMETER protocols.
  • Streams Config page UI enhancements, including configuration "Type" and "Created By" columns.
  • Validation of new Stream configurations in Stream REST API.
