What's New

Splunk Stream version 8.0.0 was released on Oct 14, 2021.

Stream 8.0:

  • Qosmos library (DPI - Deep Packet Inspection) has been upgraded from 4.x to 5.x.
  • MODBUS protocol over TCP has been implemented and provides new attributes. For more information, see

  • npcap - Windows packets capture driver is now bundled with our stream package. NPCAP replaces WinPCAP, which is now obsolete.
