Create and edit dashboard groups
You can create groups of dashboards and display them in a slideshow using Splunk TV.
Prerequisites
- Splunk Cloud Gateway is installed on your Splunk Enterprise search head.
- Splunk TV is enabled in the Configure tab of Splunk Cloud Gateway by an admin. See the Install and Administer Splunk Cloud Gateway manual.
- The appropriate user permissions are configured by an admin.
- Register your TV with Splunk Cloud Gateway.
- Have compatible dashboards in Splunk Enterprise. See Visualization support for Connected Experiences apps
Create a dashboard group
- On the homepage, select Create a Group.
- Select the dashboards you want to include in the group.
You can add up to 10 dashboards per group. To deselect a dashboard, select it again. - Select Next.
- Name the dashboard group.
- Select Create Group.
The group is now under Groups on the homepage.
From the homepage, select a group to view it. Each dashboard displays for 30 seconds, and then rotates to the next dashboard in the group. You can adjust the display time in settings.
Dashboard groups are saved to the server per user. When you unregister a TV, dashboard groups that you created on that TV persist on other TVs that you registered.
