Prepare Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP
Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP and Splunk App for VMware share the Distributed Collection Scheduler to manage data collection tasks, SA-Hydra and SA-Utils.
If you do not have the Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP installed in your environment, skip this step and proceed to download and install the Splunk App for VMware.
Splunk App for NetApp 2.0.x or earlier
If you already have Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP version 2.0.x or earlier installed in your test environment, be sure to upgrade the NetApp app's Data Collection Node with SA-Hydra 4.0.2 (bundled with Splunk App for VMware 3.1.3) and SA-Utils 3.5.0.
