Splunk App for VMware 3.2.1 features
This is a maintenance release of the Splunk App for VMware. Upgrade to this release to get all of the latest fixes to the app. For a full list of fixes, see "Fixed issues" in these Release Notes.

The following lists new features and functionality:
- Version 3.2.1 of the app supports configuration of more than 8 worker processes per DCN by scaling your Splunk Enterprise environment vertically. This lets you increase the number of available worker processes from 8, up to 30. Splunk Inc. recommends that the number machine CPU cores in your system be 1 greater than the number of worker processes that you configure.
Note: While it is possible to configure more worker processes per DCN, adding more DCNs as scaling workers to enable horizontal scaling is the recommended deployment practice if you have a choice. Learn about DCN configuration and how to change DCN capabilities.
