About the Application Server Module

The IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) Application Server Module monitors the workload, performance, and behavior of the application servers within your production environment. The Application Server Module pulls logs and performance data from local and remote application servers.

After the Splunk platform consumes and indexes the events, you can monitor the data using a set of predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with recommended and configurable thresholds that can be used to administer your production environment and triage performance issues.
