Splunk Business Flow is no longer available for purchase as of June 20, 2020. Customers who have already purchased Business Flow will continue to have support and maintenance per standard support terms for the remainder of contractual commitments.

What metadata is stored in the SBF Hosted Environment?

SBF stores the following metadata in the SBF Hosted Environment:

  • User-defined labels, such as text descriptions of a Flow Model or Flow
  • The time an entity is created and updated
  • The search in the Flow Model
  • The Journey max duration
  • Correlation ID, Step and Attribute field names
  • Selected filters in a Flow
  • Tenant UUID
  • Splunk Enterprise Search Head domain
  • License GUID's
  • Authorization tokens
  • UserID and preferences
