timeline view

A core Splunk search view that presents a search bar, a histogram, and a space to display search results in list or table format. The histogram, or timeline, is a visual representation of the number of events that occur at points in time over the duration of a given search.

The timeline view is one of the primary components of the Search app and a common component in many other apps.
