Release notes for the Content Pack for ServiceNow

Version 1.0.1 of the Content Pack for ServiceNow was released on June 08, 2022.

New features

These are the features of Content Pack for ServiceNow v1.0.1 included in the Splunk App for Content Packs v1.6.0:

New feature or enhancement Description
Minor content Improvement Fixed the business logic in few of the KPIs and Vital Metrics shipped with the Content Pack.
Renamed KPI Base Search KPI Base Search Business Application::Process Usage by Entity Name is renamed to Business Application::Process.


Please delete the KPI Base Search (Business Application::Process Usage by Entity Name) from Configuration > KPI Base Searches after upgrading the ServiceNow Content Pack to v1.0.1, and update ITSI objects if you are consuming the aforementioned KPI Base Search in your ITSI environment.

Known issues

This version of the Content Pack for ServiceNow has the following reported known issues. If no issues appear below, no issues have yet been reported.

ITSI-25976 "Select Incident Priority" dropdown of "ServiceNow - Incident Inspector" Dashboard is not working properly when we select "Equals"-based filter.
ITSI-22491 "ServiceNow - Service Analyzer" does not exclude KPIs/Services of other content packs.
ITSI-22490 Panels of Glass Table are opening in Infrastructure overview dashboard instead of Service Analyzer and drilldown behavior is non-uniform.
ITSI-22487 Lookups used in the XML dashboards do not have corresponding savedsearches to populate the data
ITSI-22172 Service Incident has an entity rule defined based on entity title but does not make use of entity filtering.
ITSI-22169 Service Incidents, KPI Incidents Closed (1h): search does not calculate the number of closed incidents within the last hour correctly.
ITSI-22168 Service Incidents, KPI Incidents New (1h): search does not calculate the number of newly created incidents within the last hour correctly.
ITSI-22166 Wrong search for entity type SNOW Incident, vital metric Total Incidents (1h).
ITSI-22165 All searches should use the itsi-cp-servicenow-indexes macro.
