Upgrade the Content Pack for Windows Dashboards and Reports

Before upgrading the Splunk App for Content Packs from version 1.4.0 or lower to version 1.5.0 and higher, perform the following steps:

  • Go to Settings > Searches, reports, and alerts.
  • Disable the following saved searches by selecting Edit > Disable:
    • tSessions_Lookup_Update
    • tSessions_Lookup_Update_Per_Day
    • tSessions_Lookup_Update_For_Lost_Data
    • tSessions_Lookup_Update_One_Time
    • tSessions_Lookup_Migrate
  • Run the command below from terminal to clean your tSessions kvstore collection: $SPLUNK_HOME/bin/splunk clean kvstore -app DA-ITSI-CP-windows-dashboards -collection tSessions_collection.
