Fields

Select a subset of fields from a record. This function accepts a variable number of arguments.

Function Input

collection<record<R>>

This function takes in collections of records with schema R.

Function Output

collection<record<S>>

This function outputs the same collection of records but with a different schema S.

Arguments

fields	collection<string>	The name of the fields you want to keep in your record. You can use wild card characters in the field names. You cannot escape wild card characters. Selecting fields that have * in their name can produce unexpected behavior and should be avoided.	host
