Configuring functions in DSP pipelines
As a user, you can route and process data in motion by building data pipelines that define how to move the data and how to transform it along the way. Each data pipeline is made up of multiple functions, and each function performs a specific action for the pipeline, such as reading data from a particular data source or changing the format of the data. To build a pipeline, add functions as specific points of the pipeline and configure each function to act on the data as you need it to. You can build a pipeline using the Canvas View or the SPL View. The supports Search Processing Language, version 2 (SPL2), that you use to build and modify pipelines.
Consult this Function Reference manual for information about all the DSP functions that you can use in your pipelines. To see the details about a given function, such as the supported parameters and examples of how to configure the function using SPL2, refer to the documentation page for that function.
