Feature deprecation and removal notices
This page lists features that Splunk Inc. is planning to deprecate or remove in a future release of the Splunk Data Stream Processor.
What does "deprecated" mean?
Deprecated features continue to work and Splunk supports them until support is removed. However, customers need to begin planning now for the future removal of support.
Any beta features, like Streaming ML, that are deprecated adhere to the Splunk Pre-Release Software License Agreement. Splunk is not obligated to support beta features.

The following table summarizes the features that will be deprecated or removed in a future release. Deprecated features continue to be supported, but Splunk reminds customers that deprecated features might be removed in a future release.
