Splunk Edge Hub OS advanced network configuration

Optionally, you can include the Mac address of your Splunk Edge Hub OS or set up a firewall.

Prerequisites

Complete the steps at Installation and configuration overview for Splunk Edge Hub OS.

Include the Mac address of your Splunk Hub OS

To include the Mac address of your Splunk Edge Hub OS, you can find the Mac address in two locations:

  • Before registering, find the address in the top right corner of the first page.
  • After registering your Splunk Edge Hub, find the address in the Settings screen.

Configure firewall on your network

If your network administrator requires firewall configuration, enable communication for the following ports:
