Splunk for iPad has reached its end of life on May 17, 2023. Splunk will no longer develop or provide support for this product, and encourages you to use Splunk Mobile instead. If you have questions, contact mobile-team@splunk.com.

Prerequisites and Requirements

Before using Splunk for iPad, an admin must set up Splunk Secure Gateway. See Get Splunk Secure Gateway to get started.

Splunk for iPad has the following requirements:

Splunk Secure Gateway version iOS version iPad model
Splunk Secure Gateway version 2.0.1 or higher. Splunk for iPad is not compatible with Splunk Cloud Gateway. iOS 14.0 or higher (iOS 15.0 beta is not compatible) Any iPad model

Steps

Here's how to download Splunk for iPad:

  1. On your iPad, launch the App Store.
  2. Search for "Splunk for iPad."
  3. Select the Splunk for iPad app.
  4. Download Splunk for iPad.

After downloading Splunk for iPad, register your iPad. For Splunk Cloud Platform versions below 8.2.2109 and Splunk Enterprise versions below 9.0, you must select Splunk Mobile in Splunk Secure Gateway when logging in.
