Splunk MINT is no longer available for purchase as of January 29, 2021. Customers who have already been paying to ingest and process MINT data in Splunk Enterprise will continue to receive support until December 31, 2021, which is End of Life for all MINT products: App, Web Service (Management Console), SDK and Add-On.

Use ProGuard with Splunk MINT

Use the following guidelines when using Saikoa ProGuard with Splunk MINT.

  • To exclude Splunk MINT from being obfuscated, add the following line to your ProGuard configuration file:
  • -keep class com.splunk.** { *; }
    -libraryjars libs/mint-5.2.1.jar
    
  • Use the following suggested ProGuard settings:
  • -optimizationpasses 25
    -dontusemixedcaseclassnames
    -dontskipnonpubliclibraryclasses
    -dontpreverify
    -verbose
    -optimizations !code/simplification/arithmetic,!field/*,!class/merging/*
    -printmapping out.map
    -renamesourcefileattribute SourceFile
    -keepattributes SourceFile,LineNumberTable
    -keep class com.splunk.** { *; }
    -keep public class * extends android.app.Activity
    -keep public class * extends android.app.Application

Upload ProGuard mappings files in the Project settings page in the MINT Management Console.
