Install and Use Splunk ODBC Driver

Verify installation of the Splunk ODBC driver on macOS

To verify that the Splunk Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) Driver was installed successfully, follow these steps:

  1. In your macOS environment, navigate to the /Library/ directory in your system, and verify that the ODBC/odbc.ini directory and file exists.
  2. (Optional) to change the splunk instance URL and login information, open the odbc.ini file with a text editor, and adjust the Splunk instance URL, username and password stanzas.
