Log into a Splunk platform instance from your TV with the Splunk Mobile app
You can log your TV into the same Splunk instance as the one your mobile device is logged into if you're using Splunk Mobile version 2.4.0 or higher.
Prerequisites
- Install the Splunk App for TV. See Install the Splunk App for TV in the Install and Use the Splunk App for TV manual.
- Download Splunk Mobile version 2.4.0 or higher on your mobile device.
- Your mobile device is logged into a Splunk platform instance. See Log into a Splunk platform instance in a Connected Experiences app in the Use Splunk Secure Gateway manual.
Steps
- Launch Splunk Mobile on your mobile device.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Tap Scan to Register.
- Scan the QR code on the registration screen of Splunk TV.
- Name your TV.
Your TV registers to the same instance as your mobile device.
