About the Splunk UBA Monitoring App

The Splunk UBA Monitoring App provides a centralized solution for Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud Platform users to monitor the health of Splunk UBA and investigate Splunk UBA issues directly from Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud Platform.

The app receives diagnostic and health monitoring metrics from Splunk UBA using a Splunk forwarder. This data does not affect any existing Splunk licenses.

What's new in Version 1.1.3

Changes have been made to what anonymized data the Splunk UBA Monitoring App as deployed on Splunk Enterprise sends Splunk Inc. ("Splunk"). To view a list of what information we collect, see Share data in the Splunk UBA Monitoring App. It is completely optional to participate in data collection. When you upgrade to version 1.1.3, a dialog box lets you decide to opt in or out of sending telemetry data to Splunk.
