Splunk® AR for iOS

Use Splunk AR

Splunk AR version 3.0.0 and higher requires the Splunk App for AR, a companion web app. To learn more, see About the Splunk App for AR.

Minimize objects in an AR workspace

In Splunk AR version 3.0.2 or higher, you can reduce the visual clutter of closely arranged AR objects, such as visualizations, notes, media, and playbooks. If you place AR objects very close to each other, they'll minimize into orbs. Then you can select an orb or drag the orb away from the nearby objects to view it in an expanded view.

If an object is very far away from your view in the Splunk AR app, it will turn into an orb so that it's more visible. Tap the orb to view the far away visualization.

Prerequisites

Complete the following prerequisites:

Minimize an object

Tap and drag an object close to another object. The object minimizes into an orb. If both objects are close enough to each other, then both objects minimize into orbs.

View a minimized or far away object

Tap an orb and expand the tray at the bottom of the screen to view the object. Or, drag the orb away from nearby orbs. This expands the object to its original state.
