Register or unregister your Splunk Edge Hub

Start streaming data into your Splunk Edge Hub by connecting it to your mobile device.

Prerequisites

Register your Splunk Edge

Register your Splunk Edge Hub using the Splunk Edge mobile app:

  1. Navigate through the welcome screens.
  2. On your Splunk Edge Hub, tap the QR code icon.
  3. On your mobile device, launch the Splunk Edge Mobile app.
  4. In the mobile app, tap the scanning icon.
  5. Scan the QR code on your Splunk Edge Hub with your mobile device.
  6. Accept the request to connect to your Splunk Edge Hub.
  7. If applicable, enter WiFi credentials. Splunk Edge begins configuration.
  8. Enter a name for your Splunk Edge Hub. This completes registration.

Unregister your Splunk Edge Hub

  1. On your Splunk Edge Hub, tap the gear icon to navigate to Settings.
  2. Tap Unregister.
  3. Tap Confirm.

The registration QR code appears once your Splunk Edge Hub has been unregistered.
