About this release

Version 2.2.0 of the Splunk Add-on for Jira Cloud was released on January 23, 2025. It was tested with the following software, CIM versions, and platforms.

The field alias functionality is compatible with the current version of this add-on. The current version of this add-on does not support older field alias configurations.

New Features

  • Added support of "Parent" field in alert actions and custom commands
    • Users are now able to add or update Parent field in Jira Issues
  • Added support for different Jira field types in the "Custom Fields" field of alert action and custom commands
  • Added support for the UCC Monitoring Dashboard
    • This dashboard enables users to visualize data volume metrics based on source, index, sourcetype, etc., errors in the add-on, event trendline
  • Added domain validation, api_token validation, input validation, and start date validation
  • Introduced "Use Existing Checkpoint" functionality in Jira Audit & Jira Issues modinput
  • Made "API Token" field uneditable in Jira Audit & Jira Issue modinput to avoid checkpoint related issues
  • Logger and third-party library enhancements
  • Added support of CIM version - v6.0.1
