About this release

Version 2.0.0 of the Splunk Add-on for Jira Cloud was released on April 11, 2024. It was tested with the following software, CIM versions, and platforms.

The field alias functionality is compatible with the current version of this add-on. The current version of this add-on does not support older field alias configurations.

New features

Version 2.0.0 of the Splunk Add-on for Jira Cloud has the following new features.

  • Introduced a new modular input to fetch Jira Issues based on user input
  • Added CIM support of the Ticket Management data model to the Jira issues collected using the modular input.
  • Introduced support of Alert Actions which can create a Jira or update an existing Jira based on user input.
  • Introduced support of the custom command, which can either create a Jira issue or update an existing one, based on user input.
  • Introduced Proxy support.
  • IPv6 support and the Splunk Add-on for Jira Cloud are now compatible with Splunk running on the IPv6 environment.
