  5. Navigate to the Apps menu of your Splunk platform deployment, and click on the Splunk Add-on for Salesforce.
  6. For each configured input for which data needs to be collected on an hourly interval, select Edit
  7. Select Hourly from the Monitor Interval dropdown.
  8. Click Update.
  9. Click on the Inputs tab, and enable all applicable inputs.

Data duplication may take place for approximately 24 to 48 hours when switching configured inputs from a daily monitoring interval to an hourly monitoring interval. Data loss may take place for approximately 24 to 48 hours when switching configured inputs from an hourly monitoring interval to a daily monitoring interval. If a new input is created with the '''Monitoring Interval''' set to '''Hourly''' or '''Daily''', and no additional switches take place, data duplication or loss will not take place. Data collection is set, by default, to collect for the last 30 days.
