Monitor add-on performance with dashboards

The Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics includes a monitoring dashboard that displays performance metrics for the add-on. The dashboard displays metrics as an overview for the entire add-on and per source type based on the configured inputs. The supported metrics include:

  • Data ingestion volume.
  • Resource consumption.
  • Errors, which can be used to troubleshoot the add-on.

To view the dashboard:

  1. In the Splunk Enterprise main menu, select Apps, then Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics.
  2. Select the Monitoring Dashboard tab.
