Create searches for Splunk AppDynamics data

To create searches for Splunk AppDynamics data:

1. In the Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics, select the Search tab.
2. In the search field, enter index=appdynamics sourcetype =<sourcetype>.
   1. Each input type collects a specific source type, as shown in the following table. Replace <sourcetype> with the relevant source type for the input type that you want to search.
3. Select a time range using the drop-down menu.
