Requirements for Splunk Industrial Asset Intelligence

Review the following requirements before you deploy Splunk Industrial Asset Intelligence (IAI).

Splunk Enterprise version requirement

This version of Splunk IAI requires Splunk Enterprise version 8.0.0 or later on all search heads, with Python 3 enabled.

Operating system requirements

Splunk IAI supports these operating systems:

• Linux 3.x kernel versions, x86 (64-bit)
• Windows Server 2012 R2 x86 (64-bit)

Supported browsers

Splunk IAI supports these browsers:

• Chrome (latest)
• Firefox (latest)
• Microsoft Edge (latest)

License requirement

Splunk IAI requires a license and entitlement. See Licensing for Splunk for Industrial IoT for information about the license and how to apply it to your deployment.

Splunk Enterprise requirements

Except as modified by statements on this page, all Splunk Enterprise system requirements apply to Splunk IAI deployments. See System requirements for use of Splunk Enterprise on-premises.
