This version also includes version 2.17.1 of Apache log4j libraries, which Apache released to address CVE-2021-44832.
CVE-2021-44832 isn't applicable to Splunk ITSI as configuration parameters don't incorporate the vulnerable pattern. For more information, see "Additional Guidance for CVE-2021-45105 and CVE-2021-44832" on Splunk Security Advisory for Apache Log4j (CVE-2021-44228, CVE-2021-45046, and others) .
