Meet Hunk
Hunk lets you configure remote HDFS datastores as virtual indexes so that Splunk can natively report on data residing in Hadoop. Once your virtual index is properly configured, you can report and visualize data residing in remote Hadoop datastores. The following links point to topics in the Hunk User Manual.
